Tanchico ve třetí epizodě The Wheel of Time

Ve třetí epizodě třetí série The Wheel of Time se poprvé podíváme do Tanchica, jednoho z přístavních měst světa. Překvapivé je, že na scénu přichází tak brzy – fanoušci knih by ho možná čekali později. První záběry ukazují rušný trh, stánky s exotickým zbožím a ulice plné kouře a stínů.

Pokud se podíváte pozorně, můžete mě zahlédnout v pozadí. Jsem sexuální pracovník sedící ve stínu, s dlouhou dýmkou a množstvím korálků kolem krku. Korálky v Tanchicu často naznačují společenské postavení – čím víc jich máte, tím lépe jste na tom. V mém případě naznačují spíš určitou “profesionální reputaci”. Dýmka není jen rekvizita, v ní doutná hašiš, což dodává atmosféře tržiště tu správnou dávku dekadence.

Zda se v Tanchicu objevím ještě v dalších scénách? Kdo ví… možná jsem jen jedním z mnoha, kteří se v tomhle městě mihnou a zmizí.

Tanchico in The Wheel of Time Episode 3

In the third episode of The Wheel of Time season 3, we get our first glimpse of Tanchico, one of the port cities in the series’ world. Surprisingly, it appears this early—book fans might have expected it later. The opening shots show a busy market, stalls filled with exotic goods, and streets covered in smoke and shadows.

If you look closely, you might spot me in the background. I play a sex worker sitting in the shadows, smoking a long pipe with plenty of beads around my neck. In Tanchico, beads often signify social standing—the more you have, the better your reputation. In my case, they hint at my “professional credibility.” The pipe isn’t just a prop; it’s filled with hashish, adding to the decadent atmosphere of the marketplace.

Will I appear in more scenes set in Tanchico? Time will tell… maybe I’m just another face blending into the city’s chaos.

휠 오브 타임, 3화의 탄치코 등장

휠 오브 타임 시즌 3의 3화에서 우리는 처음으로 탄치코를 보게 된다. 이 항구 도시는 생각보다 빨리 등장하며, 시장의 혼잡한 모습, 이국적인 물건들이 가득한 가판대, 연기가 자욱한 거리들이 시청자를 맞이한다.

화면을 잘 보면 나를 발견할 수도 있다. 나는 그림자 속에서 긴 파이프를 물고 있는 성노동자 역할이다. 내 목에는 여러 개의 구슬이 걸려 있는데, 탄치코에서는 이 구슬이 사회적 지위를 나타낸다. 구슬이 많을수록 명성이 높다는 뜻이다. 내 경우에는 “업계에서의 신뢰도”를 의미할지도 모른다. 그리고 파이프는 단순한 소품이 아니다. 해시시가 들어 있어, 시장의 퇴폐적인 분위기를 더한다.

탄치코에서 더 많은 장면에 나올까? 시간이 지나면 알게 되겠지. 어쩌면 나는 그저 지나가는 배경 속 인물일지도 모른다.
